This showcase of performing arts of various kinds, inspired by the book When Aunt Lena Did the Rhumba, features The Boys' Choir of Harlem (from Berlioz the Bear), Peter Pitofsky (from Ludlow Laughs), and the cast of the Broadway musical "Cats" (from Duncan and Dolores).
Today's biggest question is:
Can graphic depictions of slapstick comedy go overboard on a show like Reading Rainbow? Is this episode safe for your kids to watch? Did my mom have a good reason for fast-forwarding the comedian segment? Let's find out together!
